10/2/2024 - The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and the North County Transit District (NCTD) announced today both agencies will provide free transit rides Wednesday, Oct. 2, to encourage residents to save money, reduce carbon emissions and shake up routines.

07/24/2024 - OES tabled at the Summer 2024 Career Fair and shared information about office initiatives and positions. 

04/17/2024 - The Office of Energy and Sustainability partnered with the President's Sustainability Committee to host SDSU's second annual Sustainability Summit. The event consisted of presentations on sustainable initiatives on campus, trivia, giveaways, and more! 

11/07/2023 - The OES hosted a pumpkin composting event. Students dropped off their used pumpkins to compost. 

11/06/2023 - The Office of Energy & Sustainability conducted a campus walking tour for the ENV E 320 course to highlight sustainable buildings and initiatives at SDSU.

11/01/2023 - The OES tabled promoting pumpkin composting on campus. They had free stickers and Halloween snacks. 

10/20/2023 - The creation of the new SDSU Sustainability Hub was celebrated with Ronnee Schreiber, interim dean of the College of Arts and Letters, and campus sustainability staff, faculty, students, alumni, and local partners.

09/27/2023 - The OES presented to Green Love. Collaborative ideas were shared, along with plans for sustainable action. 

09/20/2023 - SDSU's Green Love had their monthly Green Lunch Bag Series event. They had speakers who focused on carbon neutrality and climate action across campus and San Diego. 

9/13/2023 - SDSU's green organizations tabled in the union. They were there to provide information on their organization and sustainability on campus. Promoted involvement and education. 

4/18/2023 - President de la Torre and the President's Sustainability Advisory Committee hosted this event to showcase the sustainability efforts of various campus departments.

4/11/2023 - The Office of Energy & Sustainability tabled in the student union in partnership with Green Love. We passed out flyers of the San Diego trolley map and environmental volunteer organizations.

4/5/2023 - KPBS invited the Office of Energy & Sustainability the opportunity to table at Be My Neighbor Day. We conducted edible plant walking tours of campus and succulent-planting activities.

12/8/2022 - The Office of Energy & Sustainability tabled in the student union to raise awareness for our office and educate students on sustainable actions they can implement in their daily lives.

11/28/2022 - The Office of Energy & Sustainability conducted a campus walking tour for the ENV E 320 course to highlight sustainable buildings and initiatives at SDSU.

10/24/2022 - The Office of Energy & Sustainability tabled in the student union in partnership with the California Native Plant Society. We educated students on identification of native plants and why they are more sustainable.
