Bio

As the Green Office intern, I am responsible for certifying new offices on campus to exemplify their sustainability efforts. This includes education regarding sustainable practices, outreach to new offices, and maintaining the certification program. My goal is to teach people that making a difference can be easy and fun!

Sustainability Origin Story:

Growing up in Colorado gave me a great appreciation for the outdoors. Whether it was hiking, boating, or simply being outside, nature always gave me a sense of peace. My mom's respect for the environment also inspired me to take great care of our world. Since coming to college, I have loved studying sustainability because it encompasses every facet of human life. It can be applied to any mundane situation, from how we eat to how we get around to what we wear. Sustainability is not just about the planet, but how we can all live fulfilling, happy lives while enjoying the beauty of nature. I hope I can inspire people that living in a way that helps nature also helps us.
