Bio

I work as an Energy Analyst Intern, where I track utility invoices and monitor energy usage across campus. Our team works to implement energy efficiency projects and measure their impact. I also collaborate with other student assistants on sustainability initiatives that help make our campus more environmentally responsible.

Sustainability Origin Story: Growing up in California, I spent a pretty good chunk of my childhood at the beach. Being able to have such an amazing sight only 10 minutes away made me realize how fortunate I was to be in such a beautiful environment. As I grew up and learned more about the threat that we pose to our planet's environment, I realized that in order to ensure that the beaches and other landscapes stay protected I have to start making a difference myself. Ever since then I have always been part of Environmental Protection groups since I was in middle school. Still after all these years I still hold the same appreciation for my environment and want to put an effort towards sustainability in my community.
